Prof. Dagmar Schuller
Prof. Dagmar M. Schuller is CEO and Co-Founder of audEERING, the innovation leader in AI-based audio analysis. Among others, audEERING was awarded 2018 with the innovation price Bavaria, was named European Top 5 Deep Tech company for Digital Wellbeing by EIT Digital, and won the VDE Bayern Award as well as the Vision Award in 2019.
Since May 2021 Dagmar Schuller is member of the plenum of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria (IHK), Germany’s largest Chamber of Industry and Commerce. In June 2021 she was elected vice president of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria (IHK). Her focus poionts are innovation, new technologies, technology transfer and data economics. Further, Dagmar Schuller is Deputy Head (Politics) of the Bavaria Chapter of KI Bundesverband e.V. and supports public institutions and different companies with her expertise as an advisor.
After completing an qualification for information technology (engineer’s degree), Schuller studied economic sciences at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration as well as New York University, L. Stern School of Business with focus on business informatics and international Management (Master) as well as law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich with focus on IT-law. Schuller has more than 20 years of work experience in the area of digitalisation and disruptive technology innovation. Prior to co-founding and heading audEERING as CEO, she was Senior Vice President, Operations Europe for an international inverstment of Hubert Burda Media. Before she was management consultant at Ernst & Young in Vienna, Austria and in New York, USA, advising international clients for IT risks and consulting for digitalisation strategies. She also was part of the global strategy team of Ernst & Young LLP for the implementation of the company’s eBusiness process- and product strategies. Further, Dagmar Schuller had a lectureship at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich at the institute for business informatics and new media. As Keynote Speaker, Invited Speaker and Panelist at national and international conferences she provides insight at applied AI. Schuller has (co-)authored more than 20 scientific publications (h-index 9) at the topic of applied AI and digitalisation.
