DevOps Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure components for our build, test, and deployment pipelines
  • Ensure the availability and implement improvements of our infrastructure
  • Build frameworks, automations, tooling, and monitoring to enable a culture of quality within the organization
  • Support the development teams to achieve the best possible efficiency and throughput
  • Support product teams with the deployment processes of scalable web-apps and web-APIs.

Your Profile

  • Software Engineering and IT skill set based on a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or alternatively an apprenticeship as IT specialist system integration / system admin
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience as DevOps Engineer or you are a Software Engineer all-rounder with expertise in network configuration
  • Feel at home in the Linux environment and you master software versioning with Git
  • Excellent skills in Python and Bash scripting
  • Familiar with network technology (Routing, IPv4, DNS)
  • Experience with Container technologies such as Docker
  • Basic knowledge of database systems
  • Familiar with standard IT security precautions and best practice
  • You are devoted to quality, a team player, passionate about delivering great results, and have strong communication skills
  • You have already worked in an agile development environment
  • You love numbers, statistics, nice graphs and flourish when explaining them to stakeholders


Plus if experience with:

  • continuous integration/deployment/delivery (CI/CD) systems (preferably GitLab)
  • support of the building of native desktop, native mobile, and web-based products or components
  • software build and/or package managers like CMake, npm, pip, Conan, and repository managers like JFrog Artifactory
  • infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
  • container orchestration platforms such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, CaaS and the like
  • cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and similar
  • issue tracking and collaborative documentation systems (e.g. GitLab, ClickUp, Jira, Confluence)
  • IT and network security (intrusion detection, monitoring, log-file analysis)
